Cookies and Browser Storage

Small browser features should have clear purposes. This page distinguishes persistent site storage from ordinary page behavior.

What the editorial code uses

The static pages and accompanying editorial script do not set cookies, write localStorage values, run analytics or load advertising trackers. The navigation menu and scroll effects use temporary page state only. They do not require a persistent identifier.

Any separately supplied hosting or consent service operates outside these editorial features. Its actual storage purposes, providers and durations must be disclosed through the relevant service information and controls if introduced.

Cookies and local storage are different

A cookie is a small value associated with a site that may be sent with requests, depending on its settings. Local storage is browser storage that scripts can access for a site and that normally persists until cleared. Either can be used for preferences or tracking, so purpose matters as well as technology.

The absence of cookies in the editorial script does not mean that no network information is processed when a page is delivered. See our privacy notice for the distinction between page features and hosting activity.

Contact text, clipboard and downloads

The contact composer keeps prepared text in the page while it is open. Copy Text writes to your clipboard only after you request it and the browser permits access. Download Text creates a file through your browser. Neither action is a cookie, and neither sends the message to the website.

Downloaded files and clipboard history can outlast a browsing session. Manage those through your device settings. Browser autofill, page restoration and password managers are controlled by your browser or installed tools rather than by this site’s script.

Browser cache and external links

Your browser may cache page files to improve loading. A cache is not the same as an advertising cookie. You can clear cached files and site data in your browser’s privacy settings. Following an external resource link takes you to another site, where its own storage practices apply.

Your controls

Use your browser’s site-information or privacy panel to inspect and clear cookies and storage for purerovercottagecre.site. You can usually block third-party cookies and restrict clipboard permissions separately. The reading pages remain available without enabling optional tracking because these editorial features do not depend on it.

If you have a storage question, write to [email protected]. Please identify the browser and feature without sending sensitive diagnostic data.
